Jobak.lk is an Online based Platform for searching the desired job which is owned and controlled by Ayra Group (Pvt) Ltd, which is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, no. 07 of 2007 Our motive behind the Jobak.lk is to provide a platform for both the Applicants to find the most appropriate job for them for free and for employers to post their vacancy or any advertisements relating to the job in their company for an agreed price.
We strongly believe that Every Person is different and unique and has different skills possessed by them. In order to utilize these skills more effectively we have come up with this website and therefore your hunt for job of your choice ends with us and hope we link you with the kind of job that you are looking for. It is an online free platform for seekers who are looking up or in search of a prospective job. We, at www.jobak.lk let the Job Applicant to register with our website for free of cost and post their Resumes. Employers too can register free of cost with our website and will be charged a nominal fee to publish their vacancy. Our Vision is that "Any Skill should be Consumed and Every Opportunity should be Taken." It is to be noted that we only act as a platform for linking between the Job Applicant and the Employer and we owe no liability for any issues between the Job Applicant and the Employer.
EMPLOYEE (Job Applicant)
1. REGISTRATION PROCESS
Any person who is looking for a suitable job can register with our website for free of charge. There is two ways to register with our website to avail the services i.e. one is to provide with name, email id and the other is to get registered with social media logins (eg. Facebook, LinkedIn, Tweeter, etc). By doing so, the job applicant creates their user id and password. This could be used by the user at any time during his account is active with the website.
Once, the user is registered and has uploaded his/her resume on Jobak.lk for the desired job, the employers who are registered with us shall contact the applicant if the resume is matching with their job profile.
During any time, the user can modify or change or update the information and resumes uploaded on jobak.lk without any prior consent of the website.
NOTE: APPLICANT RESUME AND INFORMATION SHARED WITH JOBAK.LK SHALL BE VISIBLE TO ALL THE EMPLOYERS REGISTERED WITH US.
2. RETAIN OF THE INFORMATION
The information shared in the form of resume by the user voluntarily to the website shall be retained and stored by the website indefinitely.
The information provided to the website is safe and confidential. They shall not be used by us in any way for making any monetary transactions. In the due course of law, if any of the government machinery or under any law which is applicable in Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, we are obliged to share the information of the user to that authority asking for the information.
The relationship between the Job Applicant and Jobak.lk is that of fiduciary relation. In no manner, it shall not be deemed to be offer being provided by Jobak.lk and acceptance by the Applicant. Therefore, it does not give rise to any kind of Contract under Srilankan laws.
It is the responsibility of each of the users with Jobak.lk to provide with the reliable information which are not fake and does not land the user behind the bar. So, it is the sole responsibility of the user to be true with the information being provided to Jobak.lk. It is also the responsibility of the applicant to know the legitimacy of the employer / job before him/her applying for desired vacancy. Jobak.lk shall not be liable if the applicant is lured by any of the employer registered with Jobak.lk. It is also the responsibility of the user to use the website with due diligence and with utmost good faith.
The registered users with Jobak.lk shall receive frequent email alerts to the email id registered with in case of any vacancy in the desired job and also to which the user has applied for. In case, the registered user has provided with the mobile number at the time of registration with our website, we shall also send message if the user wants Jobak.lk to notify them through text messages.
7. NO GUARANTEE
Jabak.lk is neither providing any kind of placement in any company nor providing any sort of consultation in respect of any job posted on Jobak.lk. Therefore, Jobak.lk gives no guarantee for the Job Applicant for the desired vacancy applied for.
8. PROHIBITED CONTENT
Users may not post links or email that contains, promotes, gives instruction about, or provides prohibited Content which may include any Content that infringes any Local, State, County, National or International law. For any other purpose which is not expressly permitted in this Agreement shall be deemed prohibited and therefore shall be liable for the consequences thereof if any.
EMPLOYER 1. REGISTRATION PROCESS
The desired employer can register with Jobak.lk for free of charge. It is mandatory for any employer to provide with the contact details of the representative of the company in order to ensure authenticity of the person. Once the employers get registered with the website, the same shall be verified and approved by Jobak.lk.
Once the registration is approved by Jobak.lk, the employer has to select a subscription package and can post the advertisement and pick up the required resumes for their job profile. If we find any information is faked / fabricated, not accurate, offensive, harmful or intend to damage directly or indirectly, we shall not proceed to publish and cease the service.
NOTE: Employers publishing job offers on Jobak.lk, accept that same will be visible to any registered or unregistered visitors.
Any advertisement that are considered as offensive, harmful or cause any damage whatsoever are prohibited by any Local Law, National Law and International Law.
3. COLLECTION OF DATA
Once the employer uploads a job vacancy, Jobak.lk shall review and publish the advertisement and will valid for a period of 30 days. Once this period is over, the information will not be visible to public.
By posting, publishing or uploading any type of job offer on Jobak.lk, employer confirms that they are in possession of the required permission, licenses for recruitment. The employer shall indemnify jobak.lk in case of any action or claim against Jobak.lk because of lack of this requirement or any action or claim arising out of this requirement against Jobak.lk. The employer accepts that once information and data is provided, the same will be published in Jobak.lk with all the rights and obligations that the same entitles. It is of employer's duty and liability to check and verify all the information given by the Job Applicant. The users of Jobak.lk cannot claim any type of Intellectual Property Rights or Copyrights by the information and data uploaded and published on Jobak.lk. It is of user's liability and responsibility not to publish any false information under Jobak.lk. This will lead to an immediate cease of services.
The relationship between the Employer, Job Applicant and Jobak.lk is that of fiduciary relation. In no manner, it shall not be deemed to be offer being provided by the website and acceptance by the Applicant. Therefore, it does not give rise to any kind of Contract under Srilankan law.
Employer shall communicate with Job Applicant directly and Jobak.lk will not be liable to any correspondences whatsoever.
1. RIGHTS RESERVED
The users accept that Jobak.lk at its sole discretion can modify, update, change, suspend, withdraw, and add any service or content in its entirety or part of the same. Jobak.lk shall give 02 months prior notice to it’s registered Employers if Jobak.lk terminates it’s services, the registered employers will be compensated accordingly if any ongoing contracts are in progress.
2. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Jobak.lk shall not be held liable for any harm, losses and damages directly or indirectly caused by the use of Jobak.lk. Jobak.lk liability is only to the extend and limits to the technical problems due to which the proper use of Jobak.lk is hindered.
Jobak.lk shall not be held liable for the reality and accuracy of the data and information given by either by the Job Seeker or by the Employer. Jobak.lk is not responsible of the authentication of the content published on Jobak.lk.
Jobak.lk shall not be liable for any loss of data due to force majeure or any circumstances out of our control.
Jobak.lk shall not be liable for complaints, claims or actions initiated by third parties due to users misconduct, omission or action related to Jobak.lk when uploading and transmitting data through Jobak.lk.
3. APPLICABLE LAW
These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws applicable in Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and are governed accordingly.

Unless otherwise indicated, all the contents on Jobak.lk are copyrighted by Ayra Group (Pvt) Ltd.
No part of this website shall be used for any other purpose than mentioned. Therefore, reproduction, modification, storage in a retrieval system or retransmission, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical or otherwise, for any reason, is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
5. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any dispute which may arise in the future with respect to interpretation of any terms and conditions, any dispute arising between the any parties shall be subject to Sole Arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act no. 11 of 1995. The language to use is English and the expenses shall be shared equally among the parties.
6. THIRD PARTY
Third party means one which is not associated or connected with Jobak.lk. Any redirect to other website through the discussion platform or any advertisement on the website and henceforth Jobak.lk shall not be held liable for any such decryption.
UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES Jobak.lk WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, DIRECT OR INDIRECT DAMAGES/LOSSES FOR ANY USE OF THE SITE, OR LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS LOSSES, DATA LOSSES, OR ANY PROPERTY LOSSES.
